My mom took me and my sister to Disney World several times as children. When it was finally time to take my son to Disney for the first time, we went on a huge family trip. I’ll never forget my husband saying, “I really don’t want to take a whole week off of work to go to a theme park when Six Flags is 40 minutes away!” and my response was, “but this isn’t Six Flags…this is Disney…it’s MAGICAL! Trust me!”

That was in 2013 and I have honestly lost count of the number of trips we have taken since then. We have visited Disneyland, gone on Disney Cruises, and thrown in some trips to Universal Orlando here and there as well. We have been Walt Disney World Annual Passholders since 2017, and we always have our next adventure all planned out before we even check out of our resort. Throughout our 10 year journey through infertility, visiting Disney World was our escape. Walking down Main Street to Cinderella Castle just does something for my soul. I can’t explain it!
